Eligibility

Who can apply, and what we look for.

Kawkab Internships is open to ambitious students and recent graduates across MENA. Here's exactly what to bring.

01

Active student or recent graduate

You’re currently enrolled at a recognized university anywhere in the world, OR you graduated within the past two years and are looking for your first or second professional role.

02

Right to work in MENA (or remote-eligible)

Most internships are based in MENA or are remote-friendly for MENA-based candidates. We also support global remote roles for select companies.

03

Working English (Arabic is a plus)

You can communicate clearly in English. Many roles also value Arabic fluency — we mark this on each listing.

04

A portfolio, projects, or proof of work

A CV alone is not enough. Side projects, GitHub commits, design files, writing samples, or anything that shows you can do the work makes a real difference in matching.

05

Commitment to the program length

Internships typically run 12–24 weeks. Companies expect you to honor the commitment you accept — partial or paused internships are handled case-by-case.

06

Professional references

Two references — academic, professional, or both — that we can contact during the offer stage. We never contact references without your explicit permission.

Not sure if you qualify?

Start your profile anyway. Our team reviews edge cases manually and the matching engine considers more than just degree and country. Many of our most successful interns came from non-traditional backgrounds.
